Magic City Technology Council is a professional Software Engineering
Organization promoting Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance and
Technical Project Management practices. After years of experience in the
industry, the founders of MTC felt that out of all disciplines, engineering
practices are always left out as an extra effort that may or may not influence
ROI. It is an effort, but one that will provide structured environments for
success of Software Projects. After all, why do we see a LOT of IT Projects
with cost overrun or not achieving completion at all?
Magic City Technology Council is a not for profit engineering organization
working to promote and educate professionals in "Software Engineering, Software
Quality Assurance and Technical Project Management". We want the City of
Birmingham and the State of Alabama maintain work force skilled enough to
produce highest quality software and come in line with technologically advanced
cities/states.
Our vision is to "Educate Technical Workforce, Enhance Software Product
Quality, Improve Corporation's Economic Standing which in turn will Improve
Workforce". Click here to see a
Power Point presentation on MTC introduction. This vision will not only improve
workforce but also help contain Alabama's talent within Alabama and ensure
economical growth. MTC will bring in speakers with experience, intellect and
industry standing from all over the country to advertise and share professional
experiences with other parts of the country.
We have business leadership; we need technological leadership and lay down the
path for a better IT Infrastructure for Birmingham's and Alabama's future. |
