Raymond Yeh is a senior research fellow at IC2 Institute at the
University of Texas at Austin. He taught at several universities for
20 years and led two Computer Science departments to top ten
national rankings. He was also the Control Data Corporation
Distinguished Professor at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Yeh is the founding editor-in-chief of IEEE Transactions on
Software Engineering and Journal on Systems Integration and was on
the editorial board of various journals. He also founded the
Technical Committee on Software Engineering and International
Conference on Software Engineering within the IEEE Computer Society
which helped Software Engineering to become a formal discipline in
academia worldwide.
Dr. Yeh co-founded and was CEO of three successful software
companies over a 15 year period. He also co-founder of Society for
Design and Process Science. He has been a management consultant to
many nations including United Nations, United States, China, Japan,
Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, and works with executives of many leading
edge global companies such as IBM, GTE, AT&T, Siemens, NEC, Fujitsu,
and Hitachi, as well as with founders of many start-up companies.
Dr. Yeh has published more than 120 papers and ten technical books
as well as coauthored two business books titled Zero Time: Providing
Instant Customer Value—Every Time, All the Time!, and The Art of
Business: In the Footsteps of Giants!
Dr. Yeh is a fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers (IEEE) and Society for Design and Process Science (SDPS).
He was an honorary research fellow of Fujitsu from 1978-1985. Dr.
Yeh is a recipient of the Pioneer in Information Technology Award
from the government of Taiwan, IEEE Centennial Medal, Special Award,
and the ATLAS Gold Medal, among others. SDPS created the Raymond T.
Yeh lifetime achievement award with him as its first recipient. He
held honorary professorships in several leading universities in
China and Taiwan. He has been in Who's Who in America since 1974. He
was featured in many media including The New YorK Times, PBS,
Baltimore Business Journal, Austin Business Journal, Austin-American
Statesman, several daily newspapers and TV stations in Taiwan, CCTV
and People's Daily in China, and various radio stations.
He currently lives in the City of Ten Thousand Buddha, a Buddhist
monastery, in Ukiah, California. |

the Project Management Institute in 1999 and is currently the Deputy
Project Manager of the Project Management Institute's OPM3
(Organizational Project Management Maturity Model) Second Edition
standards team. He has spoken on project management throughout the
Southeast. His profound achievement is that he has synthesized
project management, organizational development, and process
improvement theories along with his enterprise initiative
implementation experience into a systematic and practical approach
to reach breakthrough success for his clients. His background
includes enterprise project management, technology organization
leadership, organizational psychology and development, and finance.
Personally, Dennis originally attended Florida State University on a
violin scholarship and was awarded the Naval Commendation Medal for

A. Morris, PMP, is an ITIL Practitioner, consultant, mentor, and
creator of a non-profit foundation to promote Project Management in
charities and other non-profits. Rick is an accomplished project
manager and public speaker. His appetite for knowledge and passion
for the profession makes him a sought after speaker at PMI chapters,
various civic organizations, and a frequent guest lecturer at local

David
Hill is a Senior Technical Architect at AT&T. He designs enterprise
applications for AT&T internal operations as well as applications
used by customers of the company. Since joining AT&T in 1994, David
has held positions involving all aspects of information technology
ranging from systems administration and database management to
application architecture. Among the systems David has designed are a
multi-terabyte data warehouse/operational data store and a high
volume service order processor. He is also experienced in software
development methodologies and requirements management and has been
involved in the implementation of rapid application development
techniques.
David began his career in information technology in applied physics.
While working in the physics field, he designed and developed
software to perform data acquisition for nuclear magnetic resonance.
He also developed software for non-linear dynamics numerical
simulations at Auburn University.

Gene Webb - Microsoft Corporation
Gene
Webb is an Application Platform Solution Specialist based in
Birmingham, Alabama. Gene is new to the Greater Southeast District.
In his role he supports enterprise customers in Alabama,
Mississippi, and Georgia. Gene’s responsibilities include Visual
Studio Team System, Team Foundation Server, MSDN, SQL Server,
Business Intelligence, and BizTalk server products and technology.
Gene has held two previous roles in his three years at Microsoft.
Just prior to this role he was a Developer Solution Specialist in
Dallas, Texas for the small and medium business segment. In his
first role at Microsoft Gene was an ISV Developer Evangelist
responsible for working with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
helping them to understand best practices and benefits of
incorporating Microsoft technology into their product offers.
Before joining Microsoft in 2004 Gene was the Director of Software
at Travelocity.com, part of SABRE Inc. He also help found a still
growing (and profitable) .com, worked in the financial industry for
5 years at Sterling Commerce, spent several years in a services
capacity, and 9 ½ years serving our country in the United States Air
Force.
Gene holds an AAS in Data Processing from City Colleges of Chicago
and an AAS in Resource Management from the Community College of the
Air Force in Birmingham, AL. He is a graduate of the University of
Virginia, Darden School of Business, class for Leadership for
Extraordinary Performance. Gene, his wife Nery, and their son Lonnie
