WHERE DO WE(MTC) STAND TODAY!

I know we do stand out! Magic City Technology Council's Kick Off in February 2006 really "kicked us off" to a great start. Within just four months we grew to a healthy number of close to a 100 members i.e. we are getting several new membership applications every week.
This doesn't just talk about the important areas of computing that MTC focuses on, and how much our software community is aware of Software Engineering Practices. It also talks about how much the city of Birmingham has grown technologically.
Our meetings are held every month, with a healthy turn out by the Technology Entrepreneurs, C-Level Executives, Mid to Upper level Managment of technology companies and software engineers from all over the city. Our Speakers at previous meetings have been Sr. Product Managers, Independent Software Consultants and UAB Faculty Members speaking on topics that relate to each one of us in our daily professional lives. Click here to see an archieve of our previous meetings and view presentations/documents.
With Launch of the "MTC Online Services", we have provided our members with a 24/7 platform to discuss topics that interest and effect them the most in their professional lives. Click here to see MTC Online Discussion Forums.
Now, to handle this tremendous growth we are getting ready to organize our sub-committees. Please email us if you are interested in joining or heading-up one of MTC sub-committees.
We are proud to say that we are providing quality education, networking opportunites, and knowledge to the Birmingham community, as we continue moving towards our goals. Thanks for being a part of MTC!

A CHANCE TO STAND OUT!

MTC is organizing its sub committees please email us if you are interested in heading one of the sub-committees or just participating.
